/>• oversee coordination among chapter officers<br />• elicit student feedback<br />• invite speakers<br />• set agendas for events<br />• send event notifications to listserv members with attached flyer one day before each event<br />• preside at events<br />• introduce speakers at events<br />• send appreciation notes to speakers after events<br />• coordinate with the Dean<br />• coordinate with the faculty advisor<br />• coordinate with the lawyer's chapter president<br />• encourage participation of the faculty advisor and lawyer's chapter president<br />• coordinate with National<br />• check and maintain the fedsoc@lclark.edu e-mail account<br /><br />Vice President (Speaker Relations)<br /><br />• assist chapter President in all presidential duties<br />• coordinate with speakers on traveling, lodging, parking, transportation, etc.<br />• recruit debate partners for events<br />• coordinate with co-sponsoring organizations regarding debate partners<br />• gather biographical information on speakers<br />• collect student input on debate topics<br />• research debate topics<br />• develop relevant and controversial legal questions on debate topics<br /><br />Vice President (Public Relations)<br /><br />• assist chapter President in all presidential duties<br />• create flyers<br />• get flyers approved and stamped one week before each event<br />• post flyers on campus one week before each event<br />• remove flyers after each event<br />• write "today" on all flyers the morning of each event<br />• write event announcements on all classroom white boards the morning of each event<br />• place announcement memos on all classroom podiums the morning of each event<br />• update the bulletin board<br />• check and maintain the fed-soc@lclark.edu listserv, including subscribing and unsubscribing<br /><br />Vice President (Event Administration)<br /><br />• assist chapter President in all presidential duties<br />• check, maintain, and update turn in the food services waiver form one week in advance<br />• call to remind scheduling and facilities departments regarding room and parking details one day before each event<br />• e-mail event summaries to National within one week after each event<br />• e-mail podcast summaries to Carla Almaraz at almaraz@lclark.edu within one week after each event<br /><br />Vice President (Event deliver parking passes to speakers on the day of the event<br />• get all speakers bottled water<br />• collect, distribute, and recycle food and drink products<br />• pass out and collect the listserv sign-up clipboards at events<br />• explain the podcast concept to speakers<br />• get speakers to sign speaker release forms for podcasting<br />• moderate the Q&A session at the end of each
